What is changing?

There is a new Sales Tax remittance address for tax returns, sales tax payments, sales tax applications, special event forms, renewals.

NOTE: Remittance address is unchanged for PIF, Centerra RSF, and Promenade RSF.

For those that remit online through Citizen Access:

All online filers must notify their bank of the new Originator ID number, sometimes called customer number, or Client ID, by Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.

NEW NUMBER: 1846000609

For those that remit a paper return:

Please update the remittance PO Box in your accounts payable systems with the new address:

City of Loveland Sales Tax
PO Box 202126

Is there a grace period/transition time for this change for mailed returns?

Sales tax filings are based on the postmark date to determine if they are submitted on time. If there's a delay in receiving the payment, the taxpayer may receive a failure to file notice; however, no late fees will be assessed.

For questions about sales tax payments, email salestax@cityofloveland.org or call 970-962-2698
