Home MenuUnderstand Your Bill
Understanding exactly what you're paying for on your utility bill is important. The guide below, based on the example image of a bill, explains charges for each line item on your bill.
Important considerations:
- Electric rates have two seasons: Summer (July-October) and Non-Summer (November-June). View your Summer and Non-Summer electric rates in the Rates, Charges, and Fees document.
- Rates change annually on January 1.

Commercial Utility Bills
Our commercial utility bills are nearly the same as the residential utility bill you see highlighted above. If you're a commercial customer you may use the section above to better understand the utility bill; any unique charges on your commercial bill are dependent on your commercial utility rate and are explained in the Rates, Charges and Fees document.
