Loveland Municipal Code requires that permit be obtained when:

1. Installing a new sprinkler system
2. Performing work to repair, expand or modify an existing sprinkler system with an approved backflow assembly

A permit is not required when:

1. Performing normal maintenance on a sprinkler system including replacing sprinkler heads or repairing a leak

Simply complete the sprinkler permit application form. All sprinkler permits are free.
