This page highlights all rebates available to our residential customers.

You can also save water and electricity by participating in our residential programs.

We currently offer three types of rebates, provided by either City of Loveland Utilities or Efficiency Works, our regional partner:

  • Post-purchase: Buy a qualifying product on your own, submit your receipt online as a proof of purchase within 45 days of purchasing, and receive a reimbursement. See terms and conditions below.

  • Bill credits: Your rebate gets directly applied to your monthly utility bill as a credit.

  • Service provider: These are rebates for larger home improvement projects (like HVAC installs, windows, insulation, etc.) that get managed directly by the qualified, Efficiency Works-approved service provider you hire to complete the work.

State and federal tax rebates on electric installs

Refer to this guide from Rewiring America for information on converting to heat pumps/heat pump water heaters, upgrading your electric panel, installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure, or other high efficiency, all-electric solutions for your home (including electric vehicle purchases). The guide details state tax rebates and incentives as well as federal tax rebates available to you via the Inflation Reduction Act.

For greater savings — especially on larger installs — explore a combination of local, state and federal rebate options available to you:

  1. Local rebates from City of Loveland Utilities or Efficiency Works (links on this page)
  2. State rebates
  3. Federal rebates

City of Loveland Utilities cannot advise on the eligibility of any tax-related rebate.
